Cancellation & Refund Policy

Vulkana Spa & Experiences

1. Cancellation by the Customer

All cancellations must be made in writing to post@vulkana.no.
The cancellation takes effect on the day the email is received.

Spa Sessions & Private Bookings (no overnight stay)

  • More than 14 days before the booked date: refund minus a 10% administration fee
  • Between 14 and 7 days before: 50% of the total amount charged
  • Less than 7 days before: 100% of the total amount charged
  • No-shows: non-refundable

Overnight or Multi-Day Experiences

  • More than 60 days before: refund minus deposit
  • 60–42 days before: 30% charged
  • 41–28 days before: 60% charged
  • 27–14 days before: 90% charged
  • Less than 14 days before: 100% charged

2. Weather & Sea Conditions

If weather or sea conditions make it unsafe to operate, Vulkana Drift AS will offer one of the following options:

  1. Conversion of the booking into a regular spa session at the pier (same duration)
  2. Rescheduling to the next available date (no refund)
  3. Full refund

3. Minimum Group Size

A minimum group size of 8 participants is required for all cruise packages.
If the minimum number is not reached, the booking may be cancelled and an alternative solution will be offered in accordance with the options above.

4. Payments

Overnight Experiences

  • More than 60 days before: 20% non-refundable deposit, balance due 60 days before departure
  • Less than 60 days before: full payment required at booking

Spa Sessions & Day Experiences

  • More than 14 days before: 10% non-refundable deposit, balance due on the day of departure
  • Less than 14 days before: full payment required at booking

5. Changes to Your Booking

All booking changes must be requested in writing to post@vulkana.no.

  • Changes to overnight tours should be made at least 14 days before departure
  • Reduction in guest numbers follows cancellation terms
  • Additional guests must be notified at least 48 hours before departure

6. Liability & Insurance

  • Spa activities and sea plunges are undertaken at your own risk
  • Guests are responsible for arranging their own travel insurance
  • Vulkana Drift AS holds liability insurance through Gjensidige Insurance
  • Land-based activities are covered by the respective supplier’s insurance unless otherwise specified

7. Complaints Procedure

Any issues should be reported immediately on board to allow prompt resolution.

Written complaints must be submitted within 28 days of return, and no later than 2 months after the service was performed.

8. Acceptance of Terms

By booking an experience with Vulkana, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these terms and conditions.
